Privacy Policy

Published: September 8, 2026. Last updated: October 12, 2026.

1. Introduction

eFootscan helps eFootball players identify an opponent manager from a manager image and view tactical information. It is operated by eFootscan, the operator responsible for eFootscan's processing of personal information. Privacy contact: efootscan@gmail.com.

This notice covers the website and Android application globally, including the European Union and European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland and United States. Features can vary by version and availability. The web app requires a confirmed account and offers a daily Free AI scan and optional one-time scan-pack purchases.

2. Information We Process

Only submit a manager image needed for recognition. Avoid including unrelated people, messages or other personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We process information to recognize managers using AI, provide tactical results, maintain local app features, enforce account-based web quotas and applicable installation-based quotas, maintain purchased scan balances, verify payments, prevent duplicate grants and abuse, and maintain reliability and security. Manual manager selection does not require an AI image-recognition call.

Payments / Stripe

Stripe processes payment information when you buy a scan pack through Stripe Checkout. Payment details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page. eFootscan does not receive or store full payment card numbers or CVC.

Stripe may process payment, contact and technical information needed for payment processing, fraud prevention, security and regulatory or compliance purposes. Stripe may act as a processor for some activities and as an independent controller for others. See Stripe's Privacy Policy and Privacy Center.

Separately, eFootscan stores the account and purchase records needed to associate purchases with your authenticated account, confirm payment status, prevent duplicate credit grants, maintain purchased AI scan balances and troubleshoot billing issues. These include your account identifier, Stripe customer and payment references, purchase and payment-event identifiers, pack details, amount and currency, status, timestamps, and credit balance and movement records. This is distinct from the payment card information handled by Stripe.

For the scan-pack offer and purchase information, see Purchase Terms.

4. AI Processing

eFootscan uses Google Gemini for manager-image recognition. Image data and the recognition instructions may be transmitted through our backend to Google for this processing. eFootscan does not use your scan images for unrelated purposes.

Our statement that eFootscan does not persist camera scan images does not describe Google's retention or processing practices. Those depend on the applicable service terms and configuration. See the Gemini API terms and Google Privacy Policy. We do not promise that Google retains no data or make an unverified claim about Google's use of data for model improvement.

5. Consent and Privacy Choices

Optional website analytics: we use Google Analytics to measure website usage and improve eFootscan. Analytics loads only after you choose ACCEPT in the analytics banner; REJECT keeps it disabled. Analytics is not required to use the app. Your versioned analytics preference is stored locally, separately from your account, quota and History. You can change it through Analytics choices on the sign-in screen or in Settings; rejecting stops further analytics collection on that browser.

After acceptance, Google Analytics may process analytics cookie identifiers, general browser/device information and standard navigation/session information. We send only fixed page names and locations, without URL query strings or fragments. We do not send account emails or IDs, authentication tokens, installation UUIDs, scan images, manager names, History contents or recognition/tactical results to Analytics. See the Google Privacy Policy for Google's processing practices. This website analytics choice does not authorize advertising or personalized ads.

You can manage camera permissions in your device settings. This privacy page itself loads no ads, consent SDK, analytics or third-party resources and can be read without accepting advertising consent.

6. US State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, receive portable data, opt out of targeted advertising, or opt out of sale/sharing where applicable. Rights, exceptions and verification requirements vary by jurisdiction. Applicable law may also protect you from discrimination for exercising your rights and provide an appeal process.

Submit a request or ask about an appeal using efootscan@gmail.com. We may need proportionate information to identify relevant records and verify requests where required; pseudonymous records may be difficult to associate with you. Do not send passwords or advertising identifiers in a public message. See also California's official privacy-rights information; this reference does not mean every provision applies to eFootscan.

7. European Privacy Rights

Where applicable in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, subject to the conditions of the relevant law. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing and complain to a competent supervisory authority. Contact efootscan@gmail.com to make a request.

Consent does not cover every processing purpose. No data protection officer or specific regulatory registration is claimed. More information: European Data Protection Board: data subject rights.

8. Data Retention

eFootscan does not persist camera scan images on its backend. Local preferences and result history remain on the device until removed, replaced or cleared through available app/device controls. Clearing local data does not automatically delete backend accounting records.

Quota and security records are intended to be kept only as needed for their operational, verification, abuse-prevention and applicable legal purposes. No automatic deletion schedule is guaranteed.

Account and purchase records are retained as needed to maintain purchased balances, verify payments, prevent duplicate grants, resolve billing issues and meet applicable legal obligations. No fixed retention period for these purchase records has been defined.

Service providers may apply their own retention policies and obligations.

9. Data Sharing / Service Providers

These providers receive information relevant to their functions. Their legal roles can depend on the service and applicable terms; not every provider necessarily acts only as our processor. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law or to address security incidents and protect legal rights.

10. Security

Technical protections include HTTPS, server-side credential handling, keyed installation hashes, database access controls, limits on diagnostic content. No transmission, device or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Children

eFootscan is a companion service for eFootball players and is not specifically directed at children. The service does not intentionally provide adult, gambling, or other age-restricted content. Users must meet the minimum age required to use online services and provide consent in their country or region, or use the service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where applicable. Parents or guardians with questions about a minor's personal information may contact efootscan@gmail.com.

12. International Transfers

Our providers may process information outside your country, where privacy protections may differ. Applicable law may require safeguards for international transfers. This notice does not assert that specific contractual clauses, certifications or data-residency commitments are in place.
